Finalist winner for Best Rock Song, “Unhappy Hour”.
Welcome!
Creating….aside from family life, that's all I've ever truly loved doing.
Creating moments, songs, melodies, laughter, momentum, connection.
I will be sharing creations with you, including new songs, older re-mixed or reworked songs from “back in the day” that were recorded at Butch Walker's Ruby Red Studios in ATL, Grammy-winner Don McCollister's Nickel and Dime Studios in Avondale, GA., and the legendary Tree Sound Studios where Rick Beato produced a still unreleased single of mine. I’m going to dust off some unique "stories from the road” from collaborating with legendary jazz icon, Max Roach, opening for The Ramones, Blondie, Barenaked Ladies, to hangin with Andre 3000, jamming with Lenny Kravitz, John Mayer, etc…
“The Song is King” - I’ve always tried to stay true to this important sentiment for songwriting in order for my songs to resonate with me, and others as well.
I may not always hit the mark, but when I’m in the neighborhood, it brings enough joy to my heart that lasts a looooong time…so, I keep at it.
I appreciate you being here and hope the songs I post find their way into your neighborhood. There are snippets of songs available to listen to, on the EPK page, and a short video of the band opening for Everclear, below.

One of GMR's old bands was Blankety Blank. Some radio play on ATL's 99X Alternative Rock Station, helped bring about some pretty cool gigs. The short, live video is of BB opening for Everclear. The vid quality gets better after 1-min and the audio quality is solid from the start. (Unfortunately, the venue had barriers closed off the field close to the stage until Everclear went on….Enjoy!
